(15,540 posts)It is always so difficult to pick only one photo as the best. Since I'm not a photographer the criteria I use for choosing is "would I want to frame that and hang it in my house?" and usually the answer is yes to all of them!
Congratulations to all the winners.

(8,754 posts)I have to admit, I had no thought that I would win this contest, much less by a landslide.
I'm humbled, but I had a great model. Papi is a Carpathian Mountain dog who is one of the sweetest canines I have ever met. He's never been off of the mountain, and he loves every minute of his life. Always happy with a beautiful dog smile on his face. Winter is hard up there and spring for him and all those who live on the mountain is really a joyous time.
Really, Papi and the mountain won the contest. I just happened to have my camera there on that beautiful morning.
