Not just elected officials - but everyone should. If we think a crime has been committed we call tip lines. Why not this? If I saw a guy running down the street after an alleged crime and knew the police were looking for him - I would call and say - orange and white obese elderly make was seen shuffling feet through my yard on January 20th at 11:00 am.

At least it places the criminal in my neighborhood - right?
