Boehner hugely booed on convention floor over rules adoption (locking Paulites out)

That's gonna be a YouTube clip you'll wanna see when it gets uploaded. Presumably the Paulites (of which there appeared to be a lot) at the convention shouted a "Nay" as loud as the "Aye" when Boehner asked whether or not the rules should be adopted. Then Boehner shouted "The 'ayes' have it!" and was immediately booed enormously from the floor.

I'm assuming the rules were probably recently changed to prevent them from fucking with Romney's nomination.

Did anyone else catch that, BTW? It's back to bromides now.

At least that's when the local Teabaggers started bemoaning them here.

Here's a post of mine with a bit more info on the changes, and the added changes.

So much for presenting a unified front.

Gee, Akin, now this, the 'Pugs are starting to hemorrhage voters. And this is with over two months to go.

Did you see the votes previous, or the reaction to the Chairwoman from Puerto Rico? As soon as she took the dais, the crowd started shouting USA! USA! as if PR wasn't American.

I also posted about it here: http://www.democraticunderground.com/10021218803

...about her or was there something else going on? They tend to chant USA whenever there's any kind of disturbance to try to be louder than the booing. So I wasn't sure whether it was some ignorant thing or whether the chants of USA were trying to cover something up.

She didn't seem to speak English very well, but the chants started before that. And they didn't sound friendly, especially when Reince had to come out and encouraged them to show respect.

The powers that be are challenged; they respond by changing the rules.

This is how our corrupt, purchased electoral system is sustained, folks...

This preliminary conventioneering BS by the Reshitican Party isn't even as interesting as my pet tortoise's morning bowel movement.

This is the sort of thing that inspires violence, honestly. You have this small political establishment finally, *officially* turning the system into their own little private influence machine. Peons need not apply. Just shut up and do as you're told.
