Donald Jr. and Eric Trump pay bill after walking out on ‘round’s on us’ tab at Irish pub



They didn’t want to be known as two stiffs.

An Irish pub says it was paid for a hefty bar tab on Saturday, three days after President Trump’s sons Don Jr. and Eric walked out without paying and trashed New York on their recent European jaunt.

“We appreciate their business,” the Igoe Inn Bar & Restaurant said in a Facebook post.




Bar owner Caroline Kennedy said the Trump boys told her they didn’t have any cash on them after calling “drinks on us” on Wednesday night at the watering hole near their eponymous gold resort in Doonbeg.

“I don’t think they carry cash. We were told it’d be all sorted later so there’s no problem," Kennedy told the Irish Post newspaper. “I don’t think we’ve to worry about getting paid for that.”

Turns out the Trumps really were good for the tab.

The old “we’re good for it” line has been a staple of Trump family business practices dating back to Donald Trump’s days stiffing contractors at his Atlantic City resorts or claiming he couldn’t pay back Deutsche Bank loans because the financial giant “caused” the economic crisis of 2019. Trump’s reelection campaign still owes an outstanding $500,000 bill from the city of El Paso, Texas after a recent #MAGA rally.
