According to Nicole Wallace, Conservative Republican HYPOCRISY is on display once again.
Remember the "LOCK HER UP" chants at Trump rallies, even now that referenced Hillary Clinton?
Now Trump and his cult members/supporters are all up in arms because Speaker Nancy Pelosi would rather Trump be voted out of office and face possible IMPRISONMENT rather than impeachment for his obvious criminal behavior.
It is important my friends we get out the vote in 2020. Trump is banking on avoiding Indictment of his crimes while President as long as he stays in office. We can take that away from him.
This article is worth a read....[link:https://www.huffpost.com/entry/trump-pelosi-prison-trigger-nicolle-wallace_n_5cfb02dae4b0aab91c066456|

(12,870 posts)Large crowds should chant Lock him up! Lock him up! every time this POtuS shows his face in public.

(15,240 posts)We need to avoid chanting justice now that it is on the proverbial table.
Remarkable, isn't it? In each of insults, he is not accurately describing the other person: instead he is describing himself, to a T. Every single time. God, I can't wait until our country is freed from these psychos.

(19,962 posts)it. The institutions of State will not want the disgrace of a former President being sent to jail.
Mr.Bill
(24,303 posts)that not putting him in prison is far more disgraceful.

(58,785 posts)enraged and disaffected if he's impeached, much less imprisoned. Protecting our nation and not tearing it farther apart is the overriding reason for handling a president gently.
Btw, also not dragging the national trauma out further. Impeachment can only lead to removal if found guilty in senate trial, not to imprisonment. For that, new trial(s) and conviction of a now-private party are required:

(15,240 posts)This time around the intelligence community is really pissed. It may be he ends up broke and sentenced to obscurity which given his Malignant Narcissism is capital punishment. For sure prison for membership in the crime family who followed orders.

(19,962 posts)will gut him in 2021.

(19,962 posts)there was never a move to get him criminally charged. There was a tribunal which exposed a lot of his high living but there was no way the establishment wanted him sent to jail because of the humiliation it would bring on the state.

(63,221 posts)It will all be pointless if he can continue to get the word out. Not only do we need to lock him up, we need to shut him up.

(17,984 posts)He has been a criminal his whole life and basically gotten away with it. Now he holds the highest power in the country. Of course all the lights are going to focused on him. My thought on this is that he was well aware of the risk, but he wanted the fame and prestige of being president. That's right, I am saying that he voluntarily stepped into the trap just because he needed to feed his ego. Now it's time to pay.

(5,275 posts)He is nothing but a modern crime family boss and a colossal fraud that convinced enough rubes to vote for him to put him in, of course only because of our ridiculous Electoral College.......he actually lost by 3 million votes which irritates him no end.
We are at a pivot point, not only here but across large swaths of Europe. We need to fight hard to beat this fascist uprising like we did in the 40s.
I am still astounded that otherwise normal people saw this Orange Clown with a Pennywise heart as Presidential material.
