Hillary Clinton posted that her brother died last night

We lost my brother Tony last night. It’s hard to find words, my mind is flooded with memories of him today. When he walked into a room he’d light it up with laughter. He was kind, generous, & a wonderful husband to Megan & father to Zach, Simon, & Fiona. We’ll miss him very much.

Trump stole the election with GOP voter suppression. Just as DeSantis and Rick Scott and Brian Kemp stole their elections with voter suppression.
Millions were purged from voter rolls before 2016. That’s cheating. He and the GOP cheated. Hillary is the rightful president.

Also - grammarians - should I have said "was someone," or "were someone?"

BTW, the Spanish example should be quisiera, but I made a typo, and I can't, for some reason, make changes now. (The web pages are from the 1990s.)

My younger brother died a couple of years ago. His illness wasn't known to anyone in the family, so it came as a total shock. He never told anyone about any health concerns.
