. . . I note that Snopes indicates that these specific alleged statements by Trump are of dubious origin and almost certainly false. You may wish to investigate and, depending on what you find, reconsider this post.

a bunch of fake quotes on a “satire” site that got repeated by people who don’t check their facts.

The man says enough vile and egregiously-offensive crap in real life without people making shit up.

away. Making him a joke may diminish him, but it also hides just how dangerous a tool he is in the hand of the Christian RW/GOP.

Remember the hay he made when a talking head had to apologize to him? We better be careful of making his fake news claim from even seeming 1% correct.

ie: like someone needing to move to 'Russia' if they loved it so much. That RWers need locking up with no due process. Its always a little breathtaking to see it.

Even impeaching/indicting the Orange Shitgibbon requires due process and takes time.

...which appears to be a legit regional site, and got picked up by other sites and papers in Africa, but nobody has been able to corroborate details from the 2015 Trump piece.

From Snopes:

Trump indeed spoke publicly on 25 October 2015, when he appeared on CBS’ Sunday morning political interview show Face the Nation. On Twitter, Trump detailed his movements throughout the day: (5 tweets linked)

We were unable to locate any instances in which Trump visited Indianapolis at any point in October 2015. Moreover, the comments attributed to Trump (purportedly spoken to an American audience in a U.S. city) by African web sites rated as far more offensive than prior controversial remarks made by the candidate in the past that were widely reported by the U.S. news media, yet for some reason this purported quote didn’t attract the attention of a single U.S.-based political blog or web site.

quote snippet).

Best paragraph describing the feeling of somehow not remembering this:

"It beggared belief that Trump would say such things in the United States at what was ostensibly a campaign event, yet no American political web sites reported on the remarks. As with an earlier spurious Trump quote, rumors that the candidate described black people as lazy, sex-crazed thieves appeared to be a work of political fan fiction."

I expect Russian bots will be pushing this kind of stuff to trip us up in the future.
