How strongly should Democrats be investigating Trump and his connections?

It is being reported that Adam Schiff and the House Intel Committee are planning to investigate the counter intelligence factors in the Mueller investigation. There were an uncommon and shocking number of meetings between the Trump campaign and Russian operatives.

Also, Elijah Cummings of the House Oversight Committee and Jerry Nadler of the House Judiciary Committee are ready to begin calling witnesses before their Committees. They are ready to subpoena witnesses and to charge contempt of Congress for those who refuse to appear.

In my opinion, the less they agree on whether or not there should be an impeachment proceeding, the more they should agree on investigating them on every aspect uncovered in the Mueller investigation.

No impeachment? No problem. We should investigate the hell out of them.

The Republicans should be thankful that the Democrats are not impeaching the criminal in the White House.

Oh, I don't even care who is taking that oath, as long as there is no "R" designation, after their name.

crimes. This is what stinks so badly about the hallowed Justice Dept. "rule." If you can't indict a sitting president he might avoid charges entirely by staying in office just long enough. As for impeachment, do you suppose Obama would have been impeached if he had been declared an unindicted co-conspirator in a felony pay-off scheme? The other fellow in that case is currently in jail. It seems to me, that alone is enough for impeachment.

We need to uncover the “smoking gun” of conspiracy between Trump and Putin. We need that to get enough repukes to vote for impeachment in the senate. I firmly believe just impeaching him without conviction in the senate will just make him harder to beat in 2020.

I haven’t posted in awhile. I was very disheartened after the 2016 election, I’m even more so after reading the Mueller report. But I’ve decided to get back in the fight.
