Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) said in an interview broadcast Sunday that it's "wrong" to call her a socialist as Republican critics seek to use the label against her and other progressive Democrats running for president.

"I believe in markets. Markets that work," Warren told CBS News correspondent Ed O'Keefe in an interview that aired on "Face the Nation."

Including Warren, satire or no, makes no sense in context.

The group from the future is supposedly self-proclaimed ("We are socialists from the future" ) socialists, not inaccurately-labeled-by-someone-else socialists.

Warren isn't a socialist. She isn't going to travel back to the 1950s from present-day and suddenly declare herself one. Including her in a self-professed group of socialists makes zero sense.

I get artistic license and I get that it's mocking present-day attitudes about "socialism" (while taking a shot at AOC and Sanders for even claiming they're socialists in the first place), but including Warren just to fill out an extra tile or two is just laziness.

I do not not mean to sound flippant, but come on. You are literally diametrically flipping the entire intent on its head.

The "future socialists" are not even presenting socialist policy.

A supporter might say "BUT THAT IS THE POINT"

But since there is no socialist policy posed there is no point. It just misses badly.

Apparently, facts are irrelevant as long as it's ironic and satirical.

Personally, I think it makes zero sense to include her in a group of self-professed socialists, satire or no, but it's been explained to me that I just don't get satire.
