What would happen if romney was elected president?

I shudder to think of it of course, and I don't think he can win unless the republicans do what they do best, cheat and steal the election.

But what would happen? I know the gop would be very jubilant and giddy at first, then mittler would continue being mittler, and there are millions of republicans who can't stand him. But what would they do to America?

If they tried to do what the tea baggers and Jesus screamers want, how long could America take it? At what point would we all say, ENOUGH ALREADY?

All they've done for 4 years is bitch and moan and obstruct and incite hatred and bigotry and racism, so what do they have planned if their boy wins?

I don't think it would go well.

to make radical, fundamental changes to the tax system, ensuring that more riches will continue to flow to those who already have more than any human being could spend. The middle class will continue to shrink and lumped into the poor, widening the gap between the haves and the have-nots.

Long term, this is a disastrous strategy and will kill the consumer-driven US economy. But your average Republican is blinded by greed and too stupid to understand you need well-paid consumers to buy things.

Then again, maybe they don't care, feeling instead the era of the American consumer is over - that Americans need to reinvent themselves as wage slaves to the rest of the world, while the investor class assumes its proper role as our lords in a new American aristocracy.

quite literally.

Think the eight years under Dumbya were bad? A Mittens/Ryan administration would make Dumbya's years look like paradise. Kiss Medicare and Social Security goodbye, and Roe vs. Wade will be gone too once Rmoney sends his anti-choice justices to the Supreme Court.

The only good thing that could come out of it would be that by 2016 Americans would be so fed up that Democrats would win in a landslide. But would the country even survive four years under a Rmoney administration?

And the "temporarily embarrassed millionaire" peasantry will be wetting their drawers for being "Fool'd agin".

Seriously, if either by cheating or voting those two fucksticks get in, this country is over. OVER. Your economy needs a safety net whether you like it or not. A person's personal finances, education and retirement cannot be 100% reliant on the whims of private industry and the stock market, despite the Republitarian's grand dream of such a thing. There is no "ownership society".

All problems will be Obama's fault and Democrats would be "forced" to pass 99% of his agenda because of the republicon "mandate". Anyone that disagrees with Willard will be called obstructionist. Déjà vu

Cheney and company did everything they could to loot the American treasury--now and in the future--just as quickly as they possibly could.

My guess is that a Romney administration will make all that look like a kid lifting a candy bar from the corner drugstore.

That, and theocracy.

7. Romney's Big Medicare Lie becomes reality. Medicare is Willingly Bankrupted.

Voucher Program:$$$$$$$$HCProviders$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Voucher Program:$$$$$$$NO RESTRICTIONS ON PROFITS$$$$$

A smart DU poster said if Medicare was run like the VA drug formulary 1/2 the cost could be saved back into the Medicare kitty.

Truth is that Romney sees the $716 Billion having been stolen from his HealthCareProviderStock Balance Sheet... and returned to Obamacare..

His thought process is Medicare provider profit reduction or capping is really just $$$ lost on his investments, as in tax $$ lost to him. Better to jettison the system & replace it with private plans

Like letting home mortgages deteriorate until the wealthy can make a profit on their resale..

BabyBoomerSeniors are a vast untapped resource of private HC $$ because statistically they all must die sometime..

I cannot go on... it is simply too disturbing.

Taxes raised on everyone else.

A massive military build up for war with Iran which will serve to raid the Treasury, the finishing off of organized labor through national Right-To-Work laws, the removal of a women's right to choose and the gutting of both social safety net programs, education funding and voting rights.

Welcome to the New America.
