If Bob Mueller was George Washington

Washingtons speech to Continental Congress:
" As I stand before you today, the Continental Congress has declared it's independents from King George III. I applaud your decision to separate from this abusive king and strive to form a nation by and for the people where all are created equal. It has come to my attention that you are looking for a leader to take on the responsibility of bringing this young nation together and taking on the enormous task of taking on the British empire militarily. It seems you are looking to me for that task. Even though I am probably the one person who might succeed in that endeavor, I don't want it. It is just too much, and I don't want do deal with all politics and bickering in the Continental Congress. However, I have written a four hundred page report that will tell you everything you need to know. I am retiring to Mt Vernon; If you have any questions, leave me alone; just read my report."

2. But he's not. Not the president of a new nation. Not the sole salvation of a new nation. And I.

doubt, had George been in Mueller’s position, he’d willingly go on tee vee to let both sides grandstand on and dissect his work while thus incurring spin and ugliness to follow.
The House can subpoena Mueller. Those who know him say he will show up. Must his testimony be
televised?
I doubt, given ongoing investigations, any judge will force that contingency.
