Long ago when I made clothes for my dolls it was easier to adjust the fit if I just stuck the pins directly in to them (this didn't work as well when I tried making a sports coat for my husband). Jared is a good mannequin: stays like you pose him, doesn't complain about endless fittings and alterations, has plenty of time for the fussy details of tailoring since he doesn't appear to actually do anything.
