I'm in DC walking around.

I went past the Department of Justice and the EPA building and the White House and I think I dislike Twitler even more. The buildings are so beautiful and to know the awful, horrible people he has put in them makes me so mad.

and VERY sad about what's happened; I no longer visit cherry blossoms (and OBVIOUSLY won't see our great July 4 fireworks live.)

P.S. the EPA building used to be the Interstate Commerce Commission, where I worked.

Went downtown to go to the fireworks for many years. It was a great show! Used to go down and watch the Beach Boys and the National Symphony. Won't go anywhere near it this year

since childhood. For years I worked near Justice at the National Archives and National Gallery down the street.

We've often visited over the years the US Botanic Garden, Smithsonian, Cherry Blossoms, National Parks, the Kennedy Ctr, Union Station, National Theater and more.

The city's going through many changes in the last 15-20 years, extreme growth and gentrification among others..

The We visit the city as tourists whenever we have guest who want to visit. We like playing tour guide, as we did last weekend. But I totally get what you're saying. We walked past Treasury, then around the clock, past the White House, past the OEOB, around the Ellipse, and then past the side of Treasury, past Old Ebbitt Grill, and back to the car. Seeing those iconic buildings is stirring. Inspiring. Until you think of who lives there now.

I pray there is a limit to the truth that everything Trump touches dies.

I am mad, but even more, I am sad.
