(5,812 posts)I used to post on the old CTV forum and I would get the BS all the time about how the ACLU was anti-religious re Christians from other posters who clearly were members of the RR. Well, as you for sure are aware, the ACLU has gone to bat for a lot of people who believed that they were being discriminated against as a Christian and have won most of the cases. When I started pulling up the cases and posting them, I would get told that was not the truth, that I was a liar, etc. I could even give them the court and the case number and to them, I still had to be lying.
Guess one can bring the horse (horse's ass in this case) to the water by cannot make it drink!

(8,361 posts)religious freedom. One frustrating reality since the prominence of hate radio and concentration of media, is the pathetic lack of fact checking. The propaganda is unreal, it crosses over to so many important issues!

(5,812 posts)They literally live and die by Fox News. What they don't know and the BS they believe to be true -- unreal. The last one was about "executing babies." Both simply went nuclear over this happening in the US. Trying to tell them that it is not true, I get "fake news."
I do believe, tho, that even if the RRs did fact check, they still would not believe the truth no matter how ridiculous their belief. It's starting to look cult-like and not just failure to check facts. More like inability to discern facts and truth.
