Prior to this visit, Trump said "I think Boris would do a very good job. I think he would be excellent. I like him. I have always liked him.
So some activists projected a few of Boris' kind words from 2016 onto Big Ben.
And what he is doing is playing the game of the terrorists, and those who seek to divide us.
That is exactly the kind of reaction they hope to produce, and I have to say when Donald Trump says there are parts of London that are no go areas, I think he's betraying a quite stupifying ignorance, that makes him quite frankly unfit to hold the office of President of the United States.
I would invite him to come and see the whole of London, and take him round the city, except that I wouldn't want to expose Londoners to any unnecessary risk of meeting Donald Trump.

(14,174 posts)I'd like to also see ads featuring turncoats like Graham and others that competed in the GOP primaries with him. They have many clips of Republicans that now lick his boots, that previously called him unfit and other choice words. Whole ads with nothing but, say, Graham spouting out anti-Trump admonishments...or Clinton era pro-impeachment clips, etc..no need to add anything else. Maybe perhaps ending with a text, "paid for by (the Democratic party candidate)"
