In addition to paying tribute to amazing courage and bottomless sacrifice: Ike didn't know when this push against the forces of fascism and nazism would happen. All he, his staff, and our forces could do was prepare, prepare, prepare. When the moment came, we were ready to win. I think it's a lesson for us at this dangerous time. The moment will come. And we will be ready.
