Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.), one of three Democrats who voted to confirm William Barr, said on Sunday that he is concerned by the attorney general's actions.
"It really gives me pause and concern that he is a people's attorney," Manchin said on CBS's "Face the Nation."
"He should be looking out to ... protect the Constitution and all of us who are protected by the Constitution," he added.
Manchin said that he thinks special counsel Robert Mueller was "beyond reproach," adding that "I think we all felt he was extremely capable, honorable and did a good job."

(4,241 posts)If Manchin wants to stay in office in WV, he should keep his mouth shut or he might be seen as anti-45 or something else to make his constituents unhappy to realize he's a Democrat.
