White House: Hiding The USS McCain From Trump's View Wasn't "An Unreasonable Thing To Ask"

Acting White House chief of staff: It was "not an unreasonable thing" for someone in the White House to try to have the USS McCain moved to please President Trump. https://nbcnews.to/2MnE2IF - @MeetThePress

Pandering to a traitorous man child is not unreasonable? Only inside the cult of Trump..

It's like an abusive family relationship. Mulvaney doesn't want Daddy to hit him so he tries to do everything Daddy wants, not let anything happen that might make Daddy angry, and to assure everyone outside the family that it's all perfectly reasonable and everything's fine. Probably from his perspective it was perfectly reasonable to ask the Navy to move the ship because he didn't want to deal with Daddy's temper when he got home.

Isn't tRump supposed to be CIC, and of all our military--not excluding ships named after someone he doesn't like?
How can anyone defend this slight and dereliction of duty?

that the CIC of the US military would be offended by the mere sight of a USN ship because of the name it bore on the hull.

Whether Trump was behind the request or not, the fact that his staff sees the request as "not unreasonable" is very troubling.

if you’re dealing with the kid from the Twilight Zone who can wish you into the corn field. Less normal when dealing with a head of state.
