8. I like Bill Maher and agree with him most of the time.

He really hates Trump and has from the beginning. He’s not afraid to call him out, and I believe Trump has sued him in the past (for implying his parent(s) is/are an orangutan).
Maher makes some good points. I think impeachment is imperative if we want to save our democracy, even if it’s not successful. That’s the hill I want our democracy to die on, not from one small cut after another until there’s nothing left to save.
By the way, he’s mostly supportive of all Democrats and donates a lot of money to the party. I usually agree with his criticisms of Democrats. For instance, I was sorely disappointed that Bush and Cheney weren’t charged with war crimes and lying to the American people. They were given a pass, which has led to further deterioration of our democracy.

9. Its all about branding and sticking to the same thing over and over

The GOP has it down with the talking points- they all say the same bullshit over and over and the more their supporters here it the more they believe it. Think of it as a form of Stockholm syndrome for the T supporters.
So if the Dems can get on message and I also agree with Donnie Deutsch when he said we should stop using the word impeachment and call it criminal activity- Trumps criminal activity. Then it may force Trump to come and say he's not a criminal. We can beat this guy and the GOP at their own game but we need everyone on the same page.
I'm all for beginning impeachment inquiries but lets call it criminal activity inquiries. Just change the word impeachment.
