It has been my life experience, whenever I attempted to do something that came with great risk. All my worst fears never appeared. As a matter of fact, I could never have imagined how things finally turned out. In the end it always turned out for the best even when I suffered through great pain.
We all know impeaching Trump is the right thing to do, he is guilty. We all know the great risks involved. It is natural for us to ponder our worst fears. It is a tool of survival.
Over coming our worst fears to do the right thing is the essence of courage. Whenever fear attempts to grab hold of me, I think about the men and women who fought in the revolution. I think about the fear and risk they faced. They committed treason, the penalty was death. When I think about them my biggest fears become petty.
It is time to start an official impeachment inquiry. All of the liars and there are many, must be forced to appear in an open hearing for all to see. When that happens and we witness the results our worst fears will begin to fade.

Summer soldiers and the sunshine patriots confine themselves to making posts, sending texts, writing e-mails and making phone calls.
I'm not saying that being a summer soldier and the sunshine patriot is a bad thing if a person chooses to be one.

(21,754 posts)His approval rating is already underwater and everyone knows about his ties to Russia. The thing throwing people off is that his supporters don't fucking care if he works for Russia. I doubt that he will ever convince and true voting majority of Americans not to care like his Trumpanzees.

(9,426 posts)shady deals. Let everyone know what he has done, and still is doing regarding Russia. Once all the dirt is exposed, the gop will be risking their future by continuing to back him. Anyone who tries to make excuses for his misdeeds will face ridicule. Not only ridicule, but loss of position when they are voted OUT. All their cushy jobs, with great benefits will be gone. So, which is stronger self preservation or backing loser Donald? McConnell already feathered his nest, so he could care less what happens to his fellow gop members.

(9,775 posts)Yes and some of the thoughts I think try my soul even more...I remember my friends that went on protest marches against the Vietnam War, we were brothers in arms...then we marched to a different song...we were drafted or signed up to protect this country the best we could.
A number of those men never came home...they died so we could live in this country without fear...basking in the warmth of freedom. I knew those guys, I knew what they wanted, thought about, believed in...
THIS SHIT THAT TRUMP HAS BROUGHT INTO BEING IS NOT WHY THEY DIED...THEY FOUGHT TO NEVER HAVE THINGS LIKE THIS HAPPEN IN AMERICA.
