Just finished watching Sopranos for the 2nd time. Whats your opinion?

I watched it live when it aired. Thought it was awesome.

Started watching again 3 weeks ago and just finished. Was just as great if not greater this time.

All that time in between watching it again I forgot 50% of what happened. With the ability now to stop and back up and watch again I realized how much stuff I missed.

If you haven't watched it, you should. if you like gangster stuff with real long term character development and great story telling.

now the ending??? im still saying WTF?????? a million ways they could have shot the last scene.

i heard they are doing a prequel based in the 60s. i cant wait to see that if its done by the same writers!

Tony got shot in the head. The whole show was from his POV. It went black = he's dead.

4. in my opinion, the best television show I have ever watched

The obvious point of comparison is 'Breaking Bad,' which I also thought was quite well done, but I think 'the Sopranos' wins out slightly from the perspective of both compelling drama and dark humor. Just my opinion. and I have not watched 'The Wire' or 'Game of Thrones' or a bunch of other contenders. Anyway I thought 'the Sopranos' was very well done television.

8. I thought it was a really good, really solid show.

But I also think it’s a bit overrated. People go crazy with the “best show ever” proclamations because of the infatuation so many have with Mafia related material. I thought there were a couple mediocre seasons in the middle. I’m also one of the few people who had no problem with the ending. I thought leaving it to the viewers’ interpretation was brilliant.

It’s probably in the bottom half of my top ten. Really good.
