Would the public be comfortable with a 50/50 chance a President conspired with a foreign enemy?

That's the level of evidence that Mueller MIGHT have found to prove a case against Trump on conspiracy. Or maybe it was 60/40. All we know is that it was less than the "beyond the reasonable doubt" criminal standard.

However, impeachment shouldn't require the criminal standard. Serving as President is an honor. It's a job. It shouldn't be subject to the same standard as someone accused in criminal court -- the penalty doesn't include prison or even fines. The one penalty after conviction would be loss of a job. You shouldn't have to have beyond a reasonable doubt evidence of criminal guilt in order to fire someone, even a President.
