(1,402 posts)How can a man his age even get out of bed after nights of insomnia? How is it that he's able to get dressed and walk among the living without keeling over? There is a definitely a lot of drug dependence going on here, yet we only hear a few references to the abuse in social media. He has no discipline when it comes to nutrition and his only source of physical exercise appears to be riding around in a golf cart and taking a couple of swings and a lot of mulligans and that's it. I've come to believe that we can no longer have faith in mainstream media if they don't attempt to tackle this serious issue. I'm not one to shout out "Fake News" since I believe that the biggest source is the deplorable bunch at Fox. But mainstream media is keeping their mouths shut on this one. Substance abuse is a real head turner in my book, especially when the abuser is a 72 yr. old idiot who just happens to hold the title. POTUS. Come on, whatever happened to investigative journalism? You think that drug abuse in the WH wouldn't grab the attention of the country and the world? You bet it would! I only hope that this maniac gets all the payback he deserves from abusing his body, but I do not appreciate his crazy behavior that's ruining the lives of the people of this country nor do I appreciate what he's done to the incredible work performed by our forefathers when they established such a well thought and cogent application of our Constitution. Are we going to continue to allow this moronic drug abuser to destroy all this country stands for when the only thing that keeps this guy on the street and in our face is fueled by a dangerous combination of drugs? Reality is a thing of the past for this guy, if it even existed. You can laugh about the "oranges" comment, his incessant ramblings, or his incredible ranting about 'Witch Hunts". but lets face it, he's giving the Russians a free ride and whatever was done in 2016 is going to be a 'walk in the park" for them when we get to our next election. I hate to say this, but, "Fasten your seat belts, we're in for a bumpy ride" and the pilot driving the plane is severely impaired. Mainstream media helped this jack ass get elected. Media needs to pull up their boot straps because you owe the country big time time, Ka-chink, ka-chink. This is the voice of someone who fears there is no hope and I'm scared to death!

(17,984 posts)I want to underscore PSYCHOSIS.
The "malnutrition" one is kind of funny. I wonder if they mean not eating because he certainly doesn't have that problem!
smirkymonkey
(63,221 posts)However, you can eat a lot and still have malnutrition. Even though he consumes a huge amount of calories, the nutritional quality of what he eats is very poor. He is not well nourished. He is just consuming empty calories, therefore he is malnourished.
I doubt he has eaten a vegetable in years, other than ketchup. I'm amazed he's still alive, because he has such unhealthy habits. Terrible diet, no exercise, rageaholic, total stress case, probable drug dependency, poor sleep hygiene, etc.

(32,654 posts)I'm not saying he doesn't abuse Adderall or some other drug. But he does show signs of poor eyesight occasionally, while other times (like when he could be wearing contacts) no eyesight problems.
A guy his age almost surely needs readers if nothing else, which are not contacts but eyeglasses you can buy yourself without a prescription. Someone with his money could presumably afford something better, like custom-made contact lenses that are also darkened for shading the sun. When a celebrity wears sunglasses it could be to avoid being recognized, but Chump will never have that problem. He wants to be recognized wherever he goes.
