Can anyone tell me what the deal is with Aravosis?

I have gone to his site several times in the last year or so, and I can't figure out what his deal is. Sometimes, he seems really anti-Obama and then sometimes not. I hate to sound ignorant, but I just have not read a lot of Americablog in the past. I don't see much about him on here.

1. He's not entirely anti-Obama.

He remains sorely disappointed that Obama didn't put equality issues for gays at the top of his priority list in 2009. It seemed unrealistic, in my opinion, because the country's economy was in free-fall. Still, within a short time of Obama's inauguration, he was complaining about Obama's lack of attention to equality for gays. I just got tired of reading his complaints after awhile and stopped going there anymore. It isn't that I don't sympathize with his concerns, but that he seemed unable to understand how incredibly challenged Obama was (and remains) in trying to stop the country from falling into Great Depression Part II.

I am reading about him. I see that he is a former Republican, so I have some background now.
