Our bid was accepted yesterday. They upped the price by $50 to get to a round number but they are paying our closing costs. VA loan so no money down.

The summer of '83 still looms large in my memory. I bought my first car - a 1975, Lime-Green AMC Hornet sedan, that had an 8-track with house speakers wired in the back seat. My buds and I drove from Syracuse to Niagara Falls one night in it, only to have the Canadian Border Patrol shake us down on the Rainbow Bridge (not the dead pet one ) and query us as a *half ounce* of prime skunk slipped from my underwear to my pants cuff... but NOT all the way out. It was what we were gonna smoke at the Horseshoe Falls (well, at least some of it). On the way home, I kept thinking about "Midnight Express" although Canada was nothing like Turkey
