I've been losing weight since last year, and what I notice is as the belly fat goes away, gravity doesn't pull forward as heavily and you can much more easily maintain a core tightness unconsciously in your abdominals that holds everything together and more upright without "sucking it in." With too much weight in front, the alternative is relaxing completely and letting it all spill forward which pulls you into the stance Trump displays.

The goal is to hold yourself up with your core stomach muscles and get your pelvis rocked back just a little, "sitting down" into posture a bit and bending your knees slightly so your front leg muscles take more of the weight instead of the bones of locked knee joints. When you work out your abdominals and quads, they are tighter and it happens naturally.

Trump may also unconsciously feel that the forward stance makes him appear taller when it actually does not. He's arching his spine to lift his chest and the extra front weight rocks his torso forward. Ideally, you want your spine stacked up straight like an intact Jenga tower.

Wouldn’t you lean back to compensate? But maybe lifts in your shoes move your center of gravity a little differently from ordinary high heels. It could be that the combination of lifts, a big belly and some kind of back problem is causing him to lean forward. It’s odd, whatever it is.
