And they don't vote third party either. So they have more influence in society than they should have.

7. Our side magnify their power.

We vote in ways that allow them to block our vote in red states. I have often seen people from Orrgon, Washington and California wax on about mailin ballots. That does not work in Florida where any republican operative can challenge your signature and force a situation where you either stop personal affairs and go down to validate your vote within 3-4 days (assuming you know about the challenge) or your vote gets thrown out. We wait until the last day of voting instead of taking advantage of early voting, in red counties republicans simply don't set up enough machines in precincts where our big vote come from.

We can change all that with discipline:

Check our registration in person or online to insure that it is up to date.

Get our votes in early, if mailed in, check to insure that the vote has been received and will be counted, ask for a validation receipt if possible.

Vote in every election, regardless of the level of the office.

Attend public meetings like city council or county commission meetings. Right's can be taken away in such meetings, especially in red counties.
