Why can't Mueller come before Congress without the hoohaw mess of multiple questioners?

Why can't he come to just speak before both Houses on this most important matter?

Or why can't he sit for an interview with Lester Holt, perhaps, or even Chris Wallace, to tell the American people about his findings?

There's no reason a circus must be the only path for him to speak.

Why should Mueller be special?
This behind closed doors dung makes me think he wants to hide something or at least cause more confusion with the American public.

And we know from experience that it becomes futile and useless format.

I believe he is willing to read an opening statement and then take questions in private.

Two things: this would avoid the inevitable circus posturing of pukes on the committee and--given the nature of his charging documents--what are the odds that his written statement would be brief, and vague?

Just a thought.
