The reason why Trump loves to talk about impeachment, and why he blathers on about it more than most Dems, including Pelosi and all his 2020 opponents combined, is that it concerns what matters to him most, more than his job, and more than the country himself, George Conway wrote.
Mr. Conway went on to say that Trump cant help taking the bait by engaging on this subject because he is a pathological narcissist. He went on to credit Pelosi with understanding her adversary.
Shes playing him like a drum, he wrote.

Its simple. The reason why Trump loves to talk about impeachment, and why he blathers on about it more than most Dems, including Pelosi and all his 2020 opponents combined, is that it concerns what matters to him most, more than his job, and more than the countryhimself. #NPD
Politically, of course, hed be better off if hed just shut up about it, just as he would have been far better off if hed never fired Comey, never tried to obstruct Mueller, and never tweeted the words Witch Hunt. But hes a pathological narcissist. He cant help it.
Pelosi gets all this. Shes playing him like a drum.

I can well imagine they have a similar rule in order to make it work between them.
We don't like Kellyanne at all, but speculation about their marriage is between them, IMO. I really don't care at all about their marriage.

(90,734 posts)After Trump stomped out of the non-meeting, I thought Nancy Pelosi was spot on in telling Kellyanne that she would speak directly to the President and not to "staff." The resultant snark by KC was worthy of First Daughter Ivanka, but I didn't realize she'd added to it.
Kellyanne dear, bless your little pea-brain, you are nobody special and you were not elected to this position. You work for the POTUS who hired you, and everybody gets that.
Nancy Pelosi otoh is actually next in line to be POTUS herself. Mme Speaker is the important person in this picture, and you owe her the respect due her office, not some middle-school mean girl snark like "Oooh, how pro-woman of you."
