I am getting fed up. These traitors are NOT respecting the House of Representatives. If these people were "Democrats"...... you know the Repukes would be fining them and jailing them right and left.
I want STRONG, ADULT politicians,,,,, not little woosy people. Gees, i am teed off !!!!! (but hey, I didn't swear once).

The criminal offense of "contempt of Congress" sets the penalty at not less than one month nor more than twelve months in jail and a fine of not more than $100,000.

The penalties you note require a conviction. In the meantime, we can't just fine people $15k/day for the heck of it.
