I wonder why only one GOP Congressman is willing to defy the GOP and call for ......

Trump to be impeached? It sounds a bit fishy to me! One, why are the attacking him for being honest? Two, he could be a stooge for Trump and Trump figures that he can use the congressman to bait the Dems into conflicts of impeachment? The Dems need a lot more to call it a bi-partisan hearing! I can't see Nancy would ever fall for this Trump tactic?

He’s bucked his party before and been primaries twice and won both with a huge lead.

Anytime a Democrat breaks rank, the media can't get enough of a maverick contrarian who's putting principle before party and stickin' it to the Dems. A Republican bucks his caucus, and nobody in the media wants to know why. It's a curious phenomenon.

His seat is only R+6. He has to slide to the center or he will lose.

Either via court proceedings or Proposal 2, the congressional districts in MI will change for the better.

But even if he's dumb enough to think he'll be popular like Clinton was, let's do it anyway. He's dead wrong if he thinks an impeachment will raise his popularity.
