Should the pro choice advocates hold off on lawsuits and wait until after the election?

The christofascist repukes are itching for these anti choice laws to go to the Supreme Court so they can outlaw legal abortion. Maybe the women in this country should have the final say during election season and vote out all these repuke who voted for these laws and reverse the laws. Instead of spending money on lawyers we should spend it on organizing women to vote out the misogynists who put In these laws.

They christofascists need to be defeated soundly and women need to fight back and say, mind your own business and stay out of my bodies reproductive decisions.

My point is using the "next election" as a guidepost for the judiciary is pointless RhodeIslandOne May 2019 #4

That damage has been done. I agree in theory that carrying all these cases to the SCOTUS is dangerous. If Alabama or Georgia bans abortion, they may simply have to be left by the wayside to protect other states from losing their rights and not permitting the SCOTUS to seal the deal of full blown theocracy.

The scary thing is, the Georgia law as I read it could become a proactive move to make abortion a federal crime of murder. I have no doubt someone like Thomas or Rapist Brett would love to do that. I think Roberts would not though. However, get someone like that fucking moron Amy Barrett on there, and all bets are off.

Obviously, every election is now important. The damage this piece of shit has unleashed will take years to be undone.
