The rich of the world have organized, as they convinced working people not too.

That is the great irony I have witnessed over the past 40 years. It has made me angry and sad. Rich people, corporations, rich politicians from around the world all crawled into bed together. They created a union. In order for it to work they had to convince the workers of the world their unions were evil. It worked, they won.

...convincing the masses to consistently vote against their own economic self-interest. It’s done by distracting them with social issues, since many Americans vote their values, even when it kills them (and many others) financially. Propaganda works. We never hear about the incredible irony of the head of the government, Ronald Reagan, frequently preaching that government was the problem. Americans missed the joke and it’s one of the reasons we’ve been paying a high price ever since.

It provides a roadmap to understanding voters’ behavior and should be required reading for every Democratic candidate.

On that basis I think business people like unions a lot but just want to prevent workers from having the same. They oppose having a level playing field.

and practically EVERYONE has at least one television set in their house.

Everything is premeditated, on purpose, and the joke is on us.

They laugh all the way to the offshore tax shelter and money-laundering banks.
