2. Very important interview. He talks about the counterintelligence side

of things. He says that Mueller’s investigation into Trump-Russia election affair was to determine
possible criminal charges, but that matters related to counterintelligence are not included in the report. That part of what was uncovered was to be reviewed by FBI personnel. And then any of that was to go, well, he said “in a different file or something.” He said those counterintelligence matters would be dealt with by the intelligence community.
Rachel pointed out the problem in Trump though being in charge of the intelligence agencies.
Baker said yes, a delicate situation, in which then the solution would be for the president to kind of recuse himself.
Suuuuuure. Or some intelligence agencies czar to assert authority over.
Rachel asked about Moscow Trump tower deal and if it had been found that Russians had leverage over Trump. Baker said he could not confirm or deny.
Well, I am winging and reconstructing without notes.
The gist is that the counterintelligence investigation did not go away, but could be in a limbo...

Scary. But the House intel committee could take it up except.....
