Kid Rock a musician who's dabbled in rock, hip-hop and country, and one who frequently golfs with President Trump is installing a large sculpture of a hand extending the middle finger in front of his home in Nashville, Tenn., Taste of Country has reported. He was inspired to erect the statue after seeing a similar sculpture in Vermont.
That one belonged to Ted Pelkey, of Westford, Vt., who put the seven-foot-tall sculpture, illuminated, atop a 16-foot pole for all to see, WKRN-TV reported. It's placement apparently inspired Rock, who left the owner a voicemail.
"I like your style," he said in the message, which Pelkey still has stored in his phone (watch the video below). "Thanks for getting us the info on that middle finger. I gotta have one of those somewhere on my property here in Nashville."
Originally, Pelkey used the sculpture to protest town leaders' refusal to let him develop his land. "This is for the people who run the town of Westford," he told WCAX-TV while noting the effigy's popularity. "It's visited every day."
After hearing from the musician, Pekley contacted the artist and had a second sculpture constructed for Kid Rock. The sculptor and his wife are headed to Nashville to deliver it themselves, according to the reports.
This isn't the first time Rock's come under scrutiny for displaying provoking tokens at his properties. Earlier this year, the musician's butt-shaped guitar bar sign (for Kid Rock's Big Ass Honky Tonk Rock N' Roll Steakhouse, also located in Music City) was approved for use by the Nashville City Council, much to the dismay of some locals.

And forget windmills, I think this would drive your property values down 75%!

Deplorable is too good a word for him. He's a has been trying to keep his name in the news. I wouldn't walk across the street to see him perform.
