(34,857 posts)But the problem is, these polls aren't just of likely voters - or even registered voters. Many are of 18+ year old Americans regardless if they are registered to vote, have voted or plan to vote.
That's where the discrepancy comes from.
I think Rasmussen is the only one who polls 'likely voters'. But that's a right-wing poll, so, I wouldn't take it too seriously.
Among Registered Voters, here's some of Trump's numbers:
HarrisX: 45-55 approve/disapprove
Fox News: 45-51 approve/disapprove
Morning Consult: 45-51 approve/disapprove
Emerson College: 43-49 approve/disapprove
That's over the course of the last few weeks.
The average is much higher among registered voters for Trump. That's the concern, I would wager.
