How can the Republican Akin backlash best discourage the RW vote?

If I was a sinister Left Wing billionaire I would be doing targeted direct mailing to "values voters" (in important places like Cincinnati, rural Virginia, etc.) saying (truthfully) that when Akin took a stand for the rights of the unborn in all instances, Romney told him his view has no place in the Republican Party.

Seriously... if I was a rabid anti-choicer I would be livid over the way they're throwing Akin under the bus.

2. i think there are more independent voters in MO

than there are fundies and thus the fundie political is somewhat less powerful there.

but mailing those to the fundies would be a good thing to expose how some of them really feel if it motivates them to say more stupid things similar to what akin said
