Trump is Daring the House to Impeach Him: Let's call his bluff

Trump is all but daring the Democrats to impeach him.

I say they should call his bluff!

If they don't he's going to crow and crow about how he forced the democrats to back down.

But I can hear the inner machinations of the chickenshit democrats, who are so afraid of advocating openly for impeachment and because they are afraid of either arousing Trump's bases even more or are afraid of turning off low-information, disengaged voters who they think are the key to victory....

Nervous Democrat A: Even though he's daring us to impeach him, we better not take the bait

Nervous Democrat B: You're so right. That would divide the country. It would make us make us look like partisan bullies and make Trump look like a martyr. It would rally his base and the low information disengaged voter would probably wake up and hate us.

Nervous Democrat A: Plus nobody really cares anyway, ask Jared Kushner...

Nervous Democrat B: But what about our own base, don't want to let them down, do we?

Nervous Democrat A: But we can't possibly beat Trump at his own games. They need to be told that over and over again.

Nervous Democrat B: You're so right. We better stick to making the trains run on time. That's the ticket! That's what people really want and care about.

Nervous Democrat A: I wouldn't put it that way ... it makes us sound cowardly and unprincipled. And it harkens back to that guy Mussolini.

Nervous Democrat A: Just say Infrastructure, Health Care, Free College. Now that's the ticket.

Nervous Democrat B Right Let's win the next election first and let the rule of law take care of itself.
