(4,066 posts)I agree 100% we must win in 2020. That way, there will be no impediments to indicting him.
I feel that the NY AG is not going to let his position stand in the way of any indictments though. The DOJ rules are BS and should be challenged. If there were a Democrat in the same position as Trump, a GOP AG would have him or her indicted. We all know that is true

(4,066 posts)NO COURT has RULED on the issue. What you cite is simply the work of DOJ attorneys issuing an OPINION that is NOT binding on anyone outside the DOJ. The NY State DA is free to do as they please and indict if they so choose.

(1,822 posts)If you cant indict a sitting president than the statute of limitations should pause. So that way we dont actually have someone above the law.

(1,279 posts)and you leave the country, the statute of limitations is paused until you return. I think although I am not positive, that just going to another state can pause it also. It might end up going to the Supreme Court if he is reelected.
