The only way impeachment will effect trump is if

the rupubs turn on trump.

We have no real power with only the house. Trump will block any evidence needed to impeach.

I feel people are not being realistic by wanting impeachment. It will change nothing and will help trump to be re-elected.

Voting in 2020 is out real power play.

Talk to people.
Be gentle but convincing.
Be respectful but authoritative.
If you can take the day off next year and drive anyone who needs a ride to their voting place.
That's my plan.

Oh and vote!

"Letting the voters decide" is bullshit because:

1) It downplays the importance of the Mueller report, and gives ammo to the claim it was a witch hunt
2) It encourages the Russians to continue interfering and colluding with Trump
3) It emboldens Trump to continue colluding with Russia
4) It emboldens Trump to continue all his other crimes
5) What the hell happens if Trump wins? Does that then validate everything he did?

There are no good arguments against impeachment. None. It is the only option.

Tell me exactly how impeachment effects any of that.

Please be specific and tell me why impeachment will remove trump.

And why voting is the not the only way to remove trump.

The Senate will not convict him. He will not resign.

The other 2/3’s will be divided on impeachment.

Nobody here believes impeachment will remove trump

If 2/3rds hear the proof through public hearings, that alone will be the impetus for many non voters and lazy, apathetic voters, to participate. It could swing the fence sitters and make the average disinterested public care about voting and making their vote count in 2020.

They will let their leaders know. And, marketed wisely, the public will understand that they need to show up in droves so their vote makes cheating by the trumpers impossible. It takes a close race to win by cheating.

ETA: And that's if the Republicans won't impeach. But they very well may impeach once they know that the public knows the truth. Their constituents will let them know what they have to do.

None whatsoever. Which means Russian influence, right-wing billionaires’ deep pockets, Fox paranoid fantasies, and the usual GOP voter-suppression tactics will ALL play a role in the run up to 2020.

It’s painful to even imagine it, but Trump could get a “lucky” bounce like he did in 2016. Watch him try to extend his tenure with another series of “emergencies.”

All of which is why I favor impeachment NOW.

I admit it. I'm a total grammar asshole.

The funny thing is I grew up in the South and went to public schools. You'd think I'd be an idiot, and unable to notice the improper usage. I wouldn't disagree with that assumption.

My teachers were GREAT though. I credit them with my outstanding education.
