McConnell: 'Time to move on' from Trump impeachment talk

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) on Monday hit back at calls from some Democrats to start impeachment proceedings against President Trump, saying it's "time to move on."

"Well, look, I think it's time to move on. This investigation was about collusion, there's no collusion, no charges brought against the president on anything else, and I think the American people have had quite enough of it," McConnell told reporters in Kentucky, according to NBC News.

McConnell is one of 14 GOP senators, some of whom were members of the House at the time, who in 1998 either voted to either impeach or convict then-President Clinton on obstruction charges.

Impeachment proceedings would have to be initiated in the House. If the lower chamber passed impeachment articles against a president a trial would then be held in the Senate, which has successfully never voted to remove a president from office.

Anywho, Democrats will gather the necessary evidence to move forward. Democrats also need to review the complete unredacted report hopefully coming from Mueller directly. Barr is not to be trusted. McTurtle and other Republicans have reviewed the full unredacted Mueller's report.

It was about obstruction, which was proved. Plus collusion isn't a really thing. However, conspiracy is, and that was proven too.

Impeachment is the sole prerogative of the House of Representatives. The Senate's input isn't required, or, I'm guessing, particularly welcome. So, no, it's not "time to move on" from anything, especially something that hasn't even started.

In reality, Americans are just getting started...and we haven't gotten enough of the Mueller report since (1) your crony Barr hide the majority of this report from the American people.

Yeah, right, we've had enough, but mostly we have enough of your nonsense and ridiculous republican lies and nonsense.

I think the American people have had quite enough of it," McConnell told reporters

McConnell ended sanctions for Deripaska company and the aluminum plant is being built in Kentucky to supply aluminum - not for anything US needs but for building a wall or fence with one of our neighbors which, unlike Russia is not an adversarial country that helped Trump get elected.

So Russians profit, some Kentuckians get jobs, and the rest of us get ...............

and the message is human rights and aggression do not matter, the key to taking over US by a foreign power is not violent warfare but is controlling the vote counting in the US, and taking advantage of opportunities to bank roll American politicians.

The most hilarious part about this messaging attempt is that Trump can't do it! Trump will tweet about this every day!

And his tweets will be even more insane if we start impeachment proceedings, which is one reason we should do it.

So, quit telling everyone what time is suppose to be.

Also, perhaps the Democrats need to do some deep investigations into McConnell's dealings with the Russians!!!
