With the White House Easter celebration as a backdrop, Sarah Sanders delivers a whopper of a lie
(Daily Kos) Sarah Huckabee Sanders, daughter of grifter preacher and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, couldn’t take a break from lying even during the Easter holiday. Appearing on Fox News (where else?) against the backdrop of the traditional White House Easter Egg Roll, Sanders claimed reporters have said that she deserves to be choked, shunned, and, most incredibly, decapitated.

What in the heck is she talking about? Longtime White House correspondent April Ryan, who has taken a ridiculous amount of flak and flagrant disrespect from this White House, and from Sanders in particular, called for Sanders to resign after the Mueller report was published because the report included sworn statements, taken under oath, in which Sanders admitted she lied to the American people when she stood at the White House briefing room podium and proclaimed that she’d been contacted by “countless” FBI agents who were thrilled that FBI Director James Comey had been fired. After she was sworn to tell the truth under penalty of the law, Sanders admitted to investigators that her statement was “not founded on anything.” NOT FOUNDED ON ANYTHING. She later justified it by saying she lied to the public because it “was the heat of the moment.”
Here’s what April Ryan said on Friday after Sanders’ damning statements were released in the report:
Not only does she not have credibility, she lied. She out and out lied. And the people, the American people can’t trust her. They can’t trust what’s said from the President’s mouthpiece, spokesperson, from the people’s house. Therefore, she should be let go. She should be fired, end of story. When there is a lack of credibility there, you have to start ... lopping the heads off. It’s Fire-Me Thursday or Fire-Me Good Friday. She needs to go.
And Sarah Huckabee Sanders is twisting herself into the victim, a classic bully move, and further smearing one of the most respected White House reporters in the game. Her continued lies are yet more proof she should immediately be fired.
