a tad overstated, but now we have learned that Trump's lawyers have gotten copies of the Mueller report ahead of Congress. How can they have written rebuttals without seeing the report. The fucking AG, Barr is Trump's Roy Cohn.

Drastic times call for drastic measures. Barr needs to be waterboarded, enough with the polite letters and requests.

Yes, start impeachment, Barr stated at his hearing that he would release the unredacted Mueller report for an impeachment hearing.

I've been saying ever since Trump was inaugurated that even if Democrats take back the Senate and the Presidency in 2020, and hold them for the next 30 years, we will barely be able to undo the damage that's already been done. Not that I don't think we should try, but it's going to be an incredibly difficult slog.

If some kind of general strike were even still a realistic possibility, that is. And if we didn't have such a significant portion of the population who approve of fascism, and another significant portion who can't be bothered to think about anything outside of their own personal lives and whatever bullshit catches their attention on the TV or the internet or whatever.

If enough of us collectively refused to pay our taxes, pay our rent or mortgage, go to work, buy anything at all for some significant amount of time (including food, so there'd need to be an organized support system for something like this).

If we could make it clear that enough of us are pissed off to the point where we will bring the economy to a halt ourselves until our government starts respecting the fucking law...well, I don't know, probably we'd just end up with troops in the streets. But goddammit nobody is doing anything useful! Fuck!
