5. Congressional Republicans BETRAYED their duty

and their nation. Spanone, if anyone neutered these traitors it was their donors, but they spread their legs willingly for it. Many were pushed out or left congress rather than agree to serve the donor classes instead of the electorate, and now only sellouts remain.

They protect Trump to protect their own power, and they currently plot to grow and consolidate that power by continuing to protect Trump until they can get control of the supreme and most important appellate courts. They would dump Trump in a heartbeat if keeping him in office threatened their power. But not before.

Btw, let's remember that as of January 3 the house of representatives is NOT controlled by Trump, it is controlled by Democrats. Unfortunately, the electorate gave Republicans greater control of the senate, instead of taking it away. Otherwise, impeachment and removal would be well underway by now.
