Lawrence O'Donnell got a lot of information from him tonight. He's going to be tough on Trump. ancianita Apr 2019 #7
I would rather see him run as an independent FM123 Apr 2019 #8
Too dangerous. He might attract too many independents who might otherwise vote for the Dem. The Velveteen Ocelot Apr 2019 #9
The sparring could be good, as long as Weld doesn't win the primary. CaptainTruth Apr 2019 #10

He's going to slightly fracture the repukes...but dotard will start attacking him thereby reducing some off the dems. I least I hope so.

this way he can split off some repug votes to help us Dems. I want him to Stein & Nader the GOP.

The last thing we need is the bunch of "Never Trump" Republicans enthusiastically rushing back to their "newly resurrected" party & putting Weld in the WH for 8 years.

A lot of Republicans are disgusted with Trump & many will leave the "President" selection blank or even vote for a Democrat if Trump is on the ballot. If "any Republican other than Trump" is on the ballot they WILL vote for that person, making it harder for the Democrat to win.
