I'd assume perhaps prosecutors in the DC office are running it. Not sure if we know.

2. Well if it's still functioning, isn't it part of the Judiciary, and not subject to executive branch

I was under the impression that a grand jury, once empanelled, can offer recommendations for indictment for whoever it needs, and only the judge assigned can shut it down.

If so, I'm not concerned as some others as to Barrs redactions, because the GJ can keep working.

If I'm wrong, someone please correct me?

3. Yes. A US attorney is handling the mystery company's Supreme Court case there.

That was a Mueller case originally.
