Dems and The Border

I don't post much, but I have an issue.
I live in Southern California, and when I lived in San Diego, it was clear people were coming over the border with no papers, no I.D., just coming for a better life, whatever that turned out to be. Some used to camp out in the hills near my home, get whatever work they could get during the day, stop in at the Von's market for some dinner, and get back to camp.

It's worse more than ever now. These folks are escaping their dangerous and economy-strapped countries, now with their children.

California has almost 40 million people...more than all of freaking CANADA!

When Democrats talk about this issue, they speak of the caged children, etc. But they have no ideas, no real solutions, at least that I have heard. Are there any?

I know Trump said no more aid to those countries, which is counterproductive to say the least. I know now some Sanctuary Cities may take some refugees (because that's what they are). But then what?

This is a real deal, and I hope the Dems are thinking long and hard about some needed solutions.

1. You sre knocking the Dems on immigration, but I didn't hear any complaints about Repug policies.

Lock babies and children in cages, freeze them nearly to death, provide no medical screening & let sick kids die, don't screen workers & let them rape and kill the children at will. Drug and torture the brown children, steal them from their parents & give them to DeVos so she can sell them like cattle to good "Christian" assholes and give drumpf a piece of the take. Oh yeah, make sure there are ever growing #'s of refugees by taking away the little bits of $$ qe were giving to Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador and by installing useless russian steel fences tht will accomplish nothing except making PUtin & his pals richer.

Dems policies, intelligent borders, barriers where they make sense, screening equipment at border entries to stop large shipments of drugs, DACA, increase quotas for migrant farm workers - they're much needed NOW. There's also talk about illegals in the country for more than x years with no violent misdemeanors or felonies can sign up, wait x years, then allowed to apply for citizenship and allowing anyone who served in the military to automatically be eligible to apply for citizenship. There's no formal plan in congress right now, but this is what I've heard Dems in congress supporting.
