The biggest mystery about the Mueller investigation, report, is Mueller himself.

Who is he? A hero or a villain? I don't know. What did he do and why did he do it? I don't know.

The Mueller report was supposed to answer questions, clear things up. It made it more confusing. Is this mueller fault or was he sabotaged? Barr is not going to help. Did Mueller trust Barr? Does Mueller agree with Barr? Did Barr screw Mueller? I don't know.

Mueller must appear before congress. What are the Democrats waiting for? It is the only way we will find out what happened and it is the only way to save all of us from going fucking insane.

“I’m out of here.”

Don’t know if trump and upper level DOJ officials harassment caused that, or whether he took the assignment to bolster his retirement. Don’t think he was as hell bent on justice as many believed.

Hopefully, we’ll know more this week and I can eat crow dung. Be glad too.

He didn't need to bolster his retirement.

That he would have been losing his integrity by putting his finger on the scale.

10. One Problem, The Rules Keep Changing

Coming out of Watergate a legal Justice Department memo declared that a sitting President cannot be indicted so Nixon was designated as an undicted co-conspirator. Then Ken Starr ignored that and said a sitting President can be indicted for crimes before being elected. Today we have both. The conspiracy with Russia came mostly before the election and the obstruction came mostly after the election. Mueller seemed to follow the Watergate precedence, stopping short of even naming Trump - apparently leaving that for the House to handle first.

Frankly, it looks like impeachment is off the table and malfeasance is instead left up to the voters to decide in the next election. But that is troubling because it leaves the President above the law so 2nd terms Presidents have no real check on their power.

Maybe that's why nobody has seen him recently to ask him.

9. Things Need To Happen Sequentially

Right now we are all waiting for the report to be released. The House then needs a several days to digest the report so they can formulate their questions and things need to be divvied out so a broad range of questions asked. Then Mueller needs to be called to testify, perhaps more than one committee needs to do this. That timeline looks like about May 1st to have Mueller first testify. Even that could be delayed because things are tied up in the courts. Mueller has said he is willing to testify so no subpoena will be needed.

But you ask good questions too. Who is Mueller? And who is Rosenstein? He has so far supported Barr with comments that are quite frankly baffling. Given that, how independent was Mueller. Need Rosenstein to testify as well. Some things may need to occur behind closed doors, especially arguments over redactions. So this has a ways to go. A long ways to go.
