All the President's Men - how quaint!

For fun watch "All the President's Men" - it's so quaint now. A lawless President, the reporters finding the truth, the hard editor standing up, the GOP going and telling Nixon he has to resign. It all seems like another time, back when we were a real nation with a functioning government. Today, Trump simply takes out his dick and pisses on laws. Then he takes the constitution and wipes his ass with it. You can almost hear Nixon from his grave - "You can do that?" Who knew?

now.
Nixon I truly believe cared about and loved our country. I also think he was corrupt and greedy, but he wasn't comparable to Trump in anyway.
After this week, there is no denying we are in real trouble.

"The Post." Sure, most of the movie is about Kathryn Graham asserting herself as a woman in a man's world in deciding what the WaPo is going to do about the Pentagon Papers. But at the very end of the movie, there is an actual recording of Nixon, giving instructions about shutting out the Washington Post and their reporters. It was practically a segue to All the President's Men.

I know, it's all so quaint now.
