Sad to say, the much-touted Atlantic article on Ivanka Trump, based on 50 interviews, adds very little to our understanding -- perhaps because there is so little to say about a person with so little to say.

1. I have to agree. I read it today and learned NOTHING. Puff piece, but what's the point?

I was hyped as a relative "tell-all" or at least an in-depth piece, but it said very little that wasn't rehashed.

It was trying to normalize her, re-brand her, and make her likable.

The only thing I could fingure out was that the author had a 20 minute interview with trumpft, so probably didn't want to burn bridges.
